Virginie and her brother Romain Taupenot are the ninth generation to run this family domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis. While records show their ancestors practiced viticulture as far back as the 17th century, the domaine came to be after the marriage of their parents, Denise Merme and Jean Taupenot, in 1963. They are always seeking to find better ways to guarantee the consistent quality of their wines, vintage after vintage.
